EXPLORACTIVE: Outdoor Adventure Branding and App Design

The Challenge
ExplorActive was launching as a completely new brand with the goal of creating a community driven platform focused on outdoor adventures, experiences, and exploration. The challenge was to build a strong and recognizable identity from the ground up while creating a brand that felt energetic, modern, and emotionally connected to nature.
The project also required balancing both digital design and traditional marketing materials to ensure the brand could exist consistently across websites, app interfaces, merchandise, social media, and physical advertising spaces.
Another important challenge involved developing a visual identity capable of standing out within the highly competitive outdoor and travel market while remaining flexible enough to scale across multiple touchpoints and future campaigns.

The Solution
At Creativo Rock, we developed a complete brand ecosystem designed to bring the ExplorActive vision to life across both digital and physical platforms.
We started by building a distinctive visual identity inspired directly by nature and movement. The logo design centered around the “X” symbol, representing risk, exploration, and the connection between people and experiences.
The color palette was carefully crafted using tones inspired by natural environments, including coral reds, bone neutrals, vibrant greens, and deep ocean blues. These elements helped create a visual language that feels adventurous, energetic, and emotionally connected to the outdoors.
Using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, we designed the first interactive app prototype, allowing users to discover, book, and share outdoor experiences through a clean and intuitive interface.
Alongside the digital experience, we created a wide range of marketing collaterals, including promotional banners, gift cards, merchandise, and large format advertisements for subway stations and bus stops. Every asset was designed to maintain a consistent and recognizable brand presence.
We also developed a custom website design that matched the adventurous tone of the brand while creating a scalable foundation for future growth and user interaction.
To reinforce the brand identity, we created core messaging and slogans including “Connect. Explore. Inspire.” and “The World is Your Playground.”

The Results
The collaboration with ExplorActive transformed an ambitious idea into a complete and scalable outdoor lifestyle brandwith a strong visual identity and digital foundation.
The project resulted in a cohesive branding system capable of adapting across websites, mobile experiences, merchandise, social media, and physical advertising campaigns.
The combination of a responsive website, interactive app prototype, and strategically designed marketing assets helped establish a stronger digital presence while increasing the brand’s ability to connect with its audience across multiple platforms.
The modular design system also allowed ExplorActive to scale its content and marketing efforts more efficiently by using reusable visual assets and consistent brand guidelines.
Most importantly, the launch created a powerful first impression that positioned ExplorActive as a modern and experience driven brand ready to grow within the outdoor adventure industry.
